“If we’re going to achieve the Global Goals we have to do things differently. We have to prioritise social progress, and scale solutions around the world.”
At Goodsted, we bring people who want to do good together, helping them take action on causes they care about and connecting them with purpose.
Our digital solution helps businesses, communities and stakeholders engage in social action, providing them with the tools they need to connect and share resources, to progress initiatives for social and environmental development.
We are seeking a Community & Marketing Intern to work closely with our Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer, and Growth Marketing Manager to help ensure member success.
About the role
As the Community & Marketing Intern, your goal is to make sure that a growing number of Goodsted members have the best possible experience! This role is broken down into two main areas:
Community Support - You will help ensure a great experience for our members and partners. You will assist in managing and responding to member inquiries, checking the platform newsfeed and general usability, and supporting non-profits and impact startups in finding volunteer support through promoting their opportunities on various channels.
Community Engagement - You will help raise awareness of our work and of our community by creating engaging social media content and our monthly newsletter. This will include coming up with creative content ideas, community content partnerships, briefing the graphic designer on relevant visual materials, and supporting in drafting content for posting across various platforms and mediums.
A successful candidate should possess strong written skills - with a creative and innovative flair. They should be highly organised, pay attention to detail, be independent, supportive, and proactive.
If you're looking to work in a passionate team of change-makers driving social and environmental change through digital solutions, we’d love to hear from you. While this is a part-time role on a fixed term contract of 12 weeks, there is the opportunity for progression and the possibility of employment following the internship period.
